The Community Cultural Learning Center of Troy Alabama is excited to host its First Annual Kwanzaa Celebration. Directors Anthony and Belinda Askew has invited Ms. Ada Berry(Chairwoman) and The Wiregrass Black Chamber of Commerce to assist in the planning and preparation of this momentous occasion. Kwanzaa is an African American holiday observed by African communities throughout the world that celebrates Family, Community, and Culture. The Cultural Center will Observe and host a One day presentation inviting the surrounding Communities to come learn, participate, and help celebrate Kwanzaa. It will be a festive time of fun and celebration of Black African Culture. It is a free event open to the public; it is celebrated through rituals, dialogue, narratives, poetry, dancing, singing, drumming and other music, and of course feasting.
