On October 22, 2022, the Wiregrass Black Chamber of Commerce held its first Brunch in Dothan, Alabama to invite the public to learn about them, ask questions, and invite members of the Community to join.
The event was held at the Community Housing and Enrichment Center located at 1001 Monatana Street, Dothan, AL 36303. The event starte at 10 a.m. and ended at 11:30 a.m. The community was invited to register to vote from 1:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Members of the organization spoke and discussed why it is necessary to have a Black Chamber of Commerece and how we hope to work with other organizations to make things better for everyone. There will be a list of events coming to the site along with events for 2023 and beyond.
We are asking that everyone join the Wiregrass Black Chamber of Commerce. The organization is a 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit Organization. Membership is a big part of the organizations fundraising. The Chamber will also be holding various fundraising events throughout the year. You can donate by sendig a check to our P.O. box, through cashapp, and Paypal.
