Jabari DeShields

Jabari is a dynamic entrepreneur and community advocate originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His journey brought him to Alabama A&M University on a basketball scholarship, where he met his wife, Ashley Brown DeShields. Together, they have built a thriving business, The Legendary Group LLC, which Jabari grew into a multiple six-figure enterprise. His story exemplifies perseverance; he believes that failure is not the end but a stepping stone to greatness. Now residing near Los Angeles, California, Jabari is dedicated to raising his five children and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

 

Colonel (Retired) Bernita Hightower, US Army

Colonel Hightower is a storied leader who recently retired after 33 years of honorable service in the U.S. Army, where she achieved the rank of Colonel. An Iraqi war veteran, she has received numerous accolades, including the Bronze Star and two Legions of Merit. Holding multiple degrees, including a Bachelor’s from Howard University and two Master’s degrees, she currently serves as the CEO of Humble Grace Consulting LLC, providing essential services to non-profits and the community. A devoted mother and servant leader, Sis Hightower is committed to giving back to her community until she has nothing left to give.
